The Stables

Formerly a Research Centre, The Stables was originally constructed to house the horses of Adnan Khashoggi; the previous owner of Ol Pejeta. This is a budget accommodation with basic facilities on a full board basis (breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea/coffee). Guests have access to a fridge and hot water is also supplied. Since the lodge is run on a generator, there are fixed timings for electricity. It is suggested that you carry a torch.

Located inside Ol Pejeta Conservancy to its east, the lodge is a 20 minutes drive to Nanyuki airport.

Single and double rooms are available.

The rondavels offer clean & comfortable beds, mosquito net, power socket, chair, clothes hanger and laundry basket.

The bathrooms are shared.

The property has a well laid out garden surrounded by indigenous trees. You might come across wild animals (such as monkeys) and various species of birds.

Moderate - You are still in the wilderness but the amount of wildlife around the camp is not quite high and you might not get to hear them through the night on all days.

The food has been rated well by most clients.
