Mara Siria Camp

Located on the western border of Maasai Mara National Reserve, this silver certified camp by ecotourism Kenya sits atop Siria Escarpment. As the camp is unfenced, you will find several species of wild animals roaming about to quench their thirst from the nearby watering hole. There are various viewing points which allow you to take in the vastness of Maasai Mara. There is a plunge pool which overlooks the Mara River and the open plains. Located in Maasai Mara National Reserve, the accommodation is only 10 minutes from Kichwa Tembo airstrip and 20 minutes from the entrance gate of Mara Triangle.

1) Luxury Tents - King-sized beds are available. An extra bed can be set up on request. 2) Deluxe Tents - Two single beds or one king-sized bed is available. 3) Luxury Cottages - A double bed or two single beds are available. 4) Luxury Twin Tents - Two single beds are available.

There are different types of rooms available here:

1) Luxury Tents There are 8 spacious tents offering a bedroom having a king-sized bed, seating area, space for wardrobe, bathroom, reading lamps and bedside tables. They have adequate distance providing utmost privacy.

2) Deluxe Tents Raised on wooden platforms, there are 3 tents offer clean & comfortable beds, 24*7 electricity, wifi, terrace, a bathroom set up using Mazera stones and local materials equipped with a brass wash basin as well as a shower having hot/cold water.

3) Luxury Cottages Resonating traditional Maasai homes of famous pastoral people, there are two round cottages with solid walls that offer all the necessary comforts of a modern home including clean & comfortable beds, an outdoor seating area and an attached bathroom having flush toilets.

4) Luxury Twin Tents Slightly smaller in size as compared to the other tents, there are two twin tents offering clean & comfortable beds, an attached bathroom having a star shower or open shower and an outdoor seating area.

The camp offers wonderful views of the Mara plains and river. You might catch glimpses of wild animals such as zebras and antelopes.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.
