AA Lodge, Amboseli

AA Lodge is a rustic and budget lodge set amidst 60 acres of land on the outskirts of Amboseli at about 2KM from the park gate. This property has 3 tiers of rooms at different price points. The rooms are spacious, connected by a beautiful walkway. You get beautiful views of Mt Kilimanjaro from some points and the staff are helpful. But often clients experience slow service, not-so-clean rooms and worn-out bedding and linen, lack of hot water and other service issues. AA Amboseli Lodge can be a reasonable option to consider for customers on a very tight budget or when other lodges in the region are not available.

Located within Emali-Loitoktok highway, the tented lodge is 2 km away outside Amboseli National Park main gate (Kimana Gate) towards the east.

Amboseli Airport is 40 minutes drive away.

Single, double and triple rooms are available.

There are a total of 60 rooms providing large bathrooms, telephone, work desk and seating area.

The property offers wonderful views of Mt Kilimanjaro from its grounds. You might find monkeys and mongoose near your room. Animals such as zebras, giraffes and elephants may be found on the main road between the park and the lodge.

Good - You are in the middle of wilderness and have wildlife coming very close to camp and you might get to see wildlife from your rooms/campgrounds and most likely you can hear wildlife through the night.

The food has not been rated well by many clients.
